Welcome to Spray!

Founded in 1900, and incorporated in 1958, Spray is made up of 160 residents who live and work along the banks of the John Day River. The City of Spray is surrounded by mountains of rim rock, and provides a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city life. Set up a tent at the River Front Park, go for a swim, launch a raft or go fishing from a drift boat. Pack a picnic and visit the Spray Pioneer Museum. You can hook-up your RV at the Lazy Wolf RV Park, and then stroll over to dine at the Lone Elk Deli or RB Bar & Grill. Or get-a-away from it all at the Riverbend Motel or Riverbend Retreat Guest House. Where ever you choose to stop and stay, you will be sure to enjoy your visit to Spray!
